1 Bunch Asparagus with thicker stem. Do not trim.
Prosciutto (Sliced in Half)
Wrap center of each stem of asparagus with ½ slice of prosciutto. Place on silicone lined cookie sheet, seam side down. Place in oven at 450 degrees for 5-6 minutes until prosciutto sizzles and releases fat. Remove spears from oven and brush spears with rendered fat with a pastry brush. Place asparagus spears back in oven until tender (additional 5-10 minutes). Test with paring knife.
